phase 2 Classic

So, I'm slacking on the blogging, but at least not on my workouts. Part way through one week of switching to classic and I do feel like it's more challenging then the lean program and I'm happy that I switched.
Unfortunately, Jared is still on hold from working out. He needs some more testing before the cardiologist will know what is going on with him. So, still no p90x for him
This week has been very emotional. My two close friends from school have each had their hearts broken. One friend is 30 and had her fiancé leave her for another woman, the other is 22 and her boyfriend ended their relationship. I have spent many hours on the phone offering support and distraction. The three of us went to the Indians vs. Yankees game on Monday (before all of this saddness). While at the game we were talking about training for a half marathon together. So, now they are even more determined. There is one in Cleveland (they are both from Cleveland) on Nov. 21st. So I will be adding 4 days of running onto my weekly workouts starting next week!
Monday, Day 29: Chest, Shoulders and Triceps with Ab Ripper X. This was my first time with this dvd. My arms were like noodles 3/4 of the way through it. My upper body strength is pathetic. I could barely do some of the push up sequences on my knees.
Tuesday, Day 30: Plyo. I really enjoy Plyo. I had subbed it for Cardio x in my second week. This time I was tired when I worked out, but was able to do the rock star hops. In week two I couldn't do the knee tuck jumps or the rock star hops. My legs were too week, but now I made it through the whole workout without modifications! It was tough, but the fact that I could do it felt huge.
Thursday, Day 31: Back and Biceps with Ab Ripper X and Yoga X. Missed my workout wednesday evening, so I'm about to press play with Back and Biceps this morning. I'll be home all day, so I will do Yoga this afternoon and look forward to it!
