An unusual Labor Day

Tuesday, September 07, 2010

Today I ended up spending the day in ER. I called a friend and she took me in. I had been having some dizziness and vertigo for a few days. I will say I have been concerned since I tripped over DHs O2 cord and hit my head on the wall pretty hard. I put ice on it right away and did not have any repurcussions or concussion from that.

Some tell me it was one way to get me to slow down and take time for myself. What with dealing with my DHs health issues and my DILs stroke, I have been plenty stressed these past few weeks.

After my visit to ER and a number of tests(blood work, Xray, CT scan)everything was great. I have to say that it was more likely due to stress and my bodies way of saying "take time for yourself". I am going to bed soon. Hoping for a good night's rest and a brighter tomorrow.

I know many of you are praying......thank you all for that.

Glad to see you on the Cats team again. I hope you'll get as much "me" time as you can - but I believe you probably already know how important that is when you're taking care of others. emoticon

It's a good idea to rest up and take care of yourself. Get lots of sleep - and try to destress if you can.

I'm glad you went in and got checked out. It's a relief to know everything is OK. Stress can do so much to our bodies and Vertigo is not a pleasant experience. I ended up in ER last winter with Vertigo myself. I hope you are feeling better today. Take care of yourself during these stress filled days.

It's good you got checked out and everything is okay. But I agree...your body is trying to tell you something. Take some time for you, and "let go and let God". That's the biggest thing right there!

What a scare, but now at least you know that you didn't hurt yourself when you hit the wall. Take care of yourself.
Will keep you and your DH in my prayers!
