So if your from Pittsburgh you know and agree that literally you can get all four seasons within a weeks time. Late last week we had amazing spring and summer weather-- literally i was wearing t-shirts and capri pants. However early this week and yesterday we had the Fall and winter seasons. Last night was horrible. They called for 4-9 inches and we got about 6 i'd say. Because the storm happened so quickly, the roads instantly turned horrible. I was on duty which means I have to do rounds at 8, 10 and 12, as well as deal with any issues that come up as well as any other jobs as see fit by the resident director on duty. So of course because of the weather, one of our 4-12 desk aids takes off early because she feared the buses would stop running-- which they did. I knew we were screwed as soon as I found out that only one 12-8 am desk aid was scheduled.. and of course it was the one who is afraid of snow. So I called the rd on duty, of course she wants me and my duty partner to cover the shift from 12-8 am. And of course I got up at 7:30 monday morning.. ugh. So I took the 12-4 part of the shift. I went to bed at 4:30 and ended up only getting 4 hours of sleep because we still had class.. ugh. Im exhausted.. and it was/is a marathon day. Class from 10-12, 2-4:40, and 6-9. No time for a nap-- and my "friends" were just saying things to piss me off today. why do people do that!? Whats the point! UGH. so after my night class 9:01 Ill be asleep. at least i wont be eating..
