An Exercise that works for me

I did it, after many years of not doing much in form of exercising I finally found something I can comfortable do. I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy (Myotonic Dystrophy) which has really limited my ability to preform many forms of exercise. Walking would be top on my list but I'm unable to go as far or as long as I'd like. So after many year of the Doctors telling me that water exercise would be the best I finally made the plunge and tried a water aerobics class. All I can say is" I love it" why did I wait so long to try it?? I let things like "I'm to big to get in a bathing suit, let alone be seen publicly in it" get in my way. Or the fact that "I don't like Locker Rooms"stand between me and the pool. Well right now I don't give a rat's butt anymore, I'm not going to let my negative feelings hold me back from getting done what I need to do to get healthy anymore. It's amazing how much better physically and spiritually I feel after my water workout, and I'm so very glad I've finally found something that is making me feel good.
