Summer Challenge Week 1

I completed the spark generated strength workout 3 times this week. It was the gym routine workout. (don't remember the name of it. I will next week) . I completed cardio 5 times this week. No matter how much time I had I was determined to get it in.
Nutrition: OK, This week was really tough financially. I did not have money to grocery shop so I did the best with what I had. No fresh fruit or fresh veggies. But I did have frozen veggies in the freezer, so I had vegetables but not five a day. On Friday, I found a dollar in change in the car and spent it on an apple pie. (I was stressed and resorted to the apple pie). Afterwards I thought to myself I could have bought a banana and an apple with that dollar (next time).
Something did happen today that made me feel just a little lighter on my feet. It wasn't the scale. I didn't have my glasses on yesterday so couldn't read it. While I was eating my sandwich, I realized how blessed I am. Even under financial stress, I can eat. I got hungry and went to the pantry and simply opened up a can of tuna. I have a place to call home, a job to go to and I never spent a single day hungry. You know something, a tuna sandwich never tasted so good.
