Day 1 of my summer program (Argh to getting off track!)

Hi. I got off track for a few weeks and didn't plan/measure/record food and didn't exercise and gained 2 pounds! Argh. I'm back on track today and my goal is to drop those 2 pounds by August 31. The main parts of my plan are:

1. I will plan/measure/record every calorie that I eat each day and all exercise that I do.
2. I will have a 7000 calorie deficit by Aug 31.
3. I will have an average daily calorie deficit of 200 on 6 days each week.
4. I will send a daily check in to my weight loss partner including my weight and whether I met the goals each day.
5. I will exercise and burn at least 500-700 calories each morning and 100 each night.

Thanks for being out there and doing all your work, Spark friends! It's so great to be able to come back to Sparkpeople and get back on track. How are you all doing with your summer goals?

    Glad you are back on track! And hope all is going well since July 6! Blogging about it really does help you keep going! I just got back from vacation last week and gained some weight-seems to always happen to most of us! But, I too am back on track and have decided to try Calorie cycling or zig zag diet. There is a spark team that explains it all on my page that I joined if you are interested. But, it sounds like you are kind of doing it yourself! Stay strong!     That is an amazingly well defined plan! Clear and concise. I have no doubt you will meet your goal and along the line inspire others ~ me - I'm going to look at that and try to define my own as clearly! Woo Hoo - you go girl!

    Ugh I'm right there with you re: summer goals!!

    Just got back from WONDERFUL vacation and gained about 3 - 4 pounds (wasn't really "on track" prior to that). I really need to get back with it, before the summer is over!!

    Yesterday I was good with food, but what I really need to do is get back to the gym, so the calories melt off (hopefully!)

    Thank you for the inspiration - and it's good to know I'm not the only one :)
