Exercise. We make every excuse not to do it. This blog came out of a conversation I had with a friend. I had been going through a depression, and as a result, I stopped going to the gym. This is one of the worse things I could have done. There have been studies that show that going to the gym is just effective as an anti depressant for a lot of people. So this got us talking about the other benefits...
helps manage stress
helps us sleep better
promotes a happier outlook on life (endorphins are powerful things)
improves sex (the whole improve circulation thing)
help prevent muscle loss as we age
help prevent bone loss as we age (weight bearing)
makes the skin glow
...and...the reason most of us do it...
And yet, we claim we are too busy. (I know. I'm not immune to this. I work two jobs. Sometimes that's too convenient of an excuse.)
Too busy ? For what? Be healthier, happier people?
Just my take on it.
