How work sabbotages me.

Sunday, May 13, 2012

Here I am at work and they are serving in the cafeteria a southern breakfast. Well as all of you know, that derails a diet but fast. So I had packed my lunch of goodies that are healthy and satisfying (love the Wasa bread). Then someone says to me wow that looks really good and I should have packed a lunch. Woohoo...instead of being the butt of the eating, I am the focus. Yeah, someone noticed that I was being healthy. I really liked that and I feel more empowered to do more of it. Does anyone else have a story that is somewhat similar? Please share. emoticon

At home, I prepare grits in a healthier way by using ICBINB Light and "No Salt" potassium chloride. And if I want it a little sweat I'll add some SweatLeaf Stevia (no aftertaste).

We don't have a cafeteria here but there are several of us doing the healthy overboard thing LOL like sprouts/sunflower greens/juicing.
Mostly people are interested in what's going on but not enough to actually start themselves. But that's okay. It's what I need to do at this time of my life. Most people do want the energy bar recipes and granola. I think those are more familiar to them.
