6-12-12 Progress Update

Well, after 12 days of working out and tracking, I have had NO weight loss. I could attribute some of that to my T.O.M., because I gained 3 lbs for a few days. I'm now back to 207. Although I have not seen any positive change on the scale, I have seen/felt changes in my body. For instance, when I first started my program, it was uncomfortable to do knee lifts. My stomach got in the way, and it was just awkward, to say the least. I can already see a change in the shape of my stomach, and I can feel it whenever I do those knee lifts now. Although the bulge is still there (though slightly smaller), that discomfort is not. That's an improvement, and I'll take it! My body is also less fatigued after a workout. I can make it all the way through without taking a breather. I'm also feeling stronger. The strength training is working wonders for my endurance. Yay me!
I'm not going to let myself and all those doubts from previous failures get in my way.
Yesterday my back and neck ached the whole day. I was just going to hop on the treadmill and walk a mile or two, just so I could say I did something. I shared this thought with my hubby, and he texted me back, saying, "Do your program! I know you can do it!" And you know what? I did it and felt better for it!
