2 weeks off of working out

While talking to my nutritionist last Thursday, she recommended I take two weeks off from working out. She said it will put me a step or two back when I start up again, but sometimes the body will drop a lot of weight (not muscle) if you stop a hardcore routine for two weeks.

It's going to be kind of hard not to work out - I was really enjoying it. But, maybe this will work since the weight just keeps sticking to me.

    i have definitely had the experience of pausing my workouts and losing weight. Working our muscles causes the production of cortisol, which can cause us to store fat.

    When my weight loss has stalled recently it is usually because I have been working out too much.

    Will be interesting to track what happens on your hiatus.
