Re-kicking things up

Hi Sparkland :)

So I have been messing around for the past 4 months. The last time I tracked my weight on spark was on 06/17. In the past 4 months I quit weight watchers, started anew position at work and moved to a different home. Oh yeah and I was also Mai of honor in my friend's wedding. To say that I have been doing some emotional eating is an understatement. But I didn't gain all the weight back so for that I am happy! Now it's time for me to re-commit. I want to get to 178, which is how much I weighed a few days after giving birth to my daughter, back in February 2010. I am not that far away!!
One of my FB friends whom I met through spark, posted about how she was writing a letter to her future self about where she WILL be at this time next year in terms to her health and just anything else. She encouraged us to do the same so I am posting mine on here, for park wold to see.

Dear Mari,

Girl you needed to get it together. It may have taken longer than what you would have liked, but at least you have moved in the right direction. You will reach your health/ fitness goals! You've been procrastinating because you know it's not easy, and you get lazy and want the easy way out. It's easier for you to eat through the emotions and hide, than to deal with the reality. But enough is enough. By this time next year you will weigh less than 150 lbs. how you will get there is simple- tracking your food and working out. Yup, that means getting up before 5 am and going to the gym. You have to do it first thing in the morning, otherwise you lie your way out of it. Start off slow, and as you get better start adding more time and intensity. As for food, you will start tracking your food on spark. If you need additional support then guess hat, weight watchers here you go again! One more thing that will keep you motivated- reward yourself! You're always waiting to reach your goal in order to reward yourself, but that's not fun! Make a list of rewards for every 10 lbs you lose.
On a none health/fitness level, you will have figured out better what the heck you will be doing career wise. On the financial level, that credit will be paid off!
And stop trying to be perfect!!!

You're future self

I completely understand how busy and crazy life gets expecially with a little one. Losing weight when you have a dependent is HARD. I am strugglign too. I have lost 7 pounds and have kept it off but I want to see real movement. You should put a reward schedule on your page. I did it.
