Fitbit One

Thursday, January 17, 2013

I decided to buy myself fitbit one for Christmas. I have really been enjoying working with it. Last night I decided I was not going to go to bed till I burned the amount of calories it said I should for the day. I keep getting close but not getting all the way there. Last night was my night so I worked and worked at it and finally got there went to to sync it and it was a min. after midnight. Guess what and I did know this at midnight the fitbit goes back to all zeros and you start your next day. Lesson learned I am going to pay more attention to the calories burn all day and make an effort to get there at a better hour.
I have always said when something like this happens it happens for a reason. There is always a lesson to learn. I got the message now and know what I need to do.
Since I got the fitbit one I have been staying in my calorie count so much better and have been being a lot more active than before just not as active as I need to be but I am working on it now that I can see the numbers in front of me all day. I love the way it prints out messages to me all through the day. One morning when I pick it up to put it on for the day. The message was Ina take me for a walk and one time it said Ina I love you to cool to have that kind of encouragement.

OH NO I did it again. I had written so much about your fit bit.
My Blog yesterday asked about it and only one answered I realised after I had gone to Beth's page I was missing you so I came here and there is all the information I needed.
This month i have a personal goal and if I make it I will reward myself (never have done this) with a fit bit. You must have fit bit one . Is that the upgraded one or the one you wear on your pans.
I looked and commented on Preston and Carly what an awesome photo, such a keeper. I have subscribed again to your blogs but I think it stops after a while HUGS and I did miss you HUGS pat in Maine.
PS is it really easy to use. Does it save the day before that you lost. Is it easy to program. HUGS Pat emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

i am pretty sure that when you sync next, it will still 'remember' the other days, so you can just go back on the website to see if you were within your ranges! enjoy-- i'm having fun with mine for sure!

Good for you! I am proud of you! Now I know if I ever get one, you can show me how to use it. I am rying to learn to use my phone to count steps, but haven't quite figured it out yet. Love you!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my fitbit! I got one for Christmas too. I wear the wrist sleeve half the time on the weekends cause the clip doesn't fit all that well on my pajama pants or sweats. ;) I also love love love how much incentive there is in getting an email that says "Congratulations on getting 10k steps today!" Love it!!

Fantastic731, love it. The FitBit One is only $99 (plus S&H and tax I'ms ure) forever. There is no subscription fee, no yearly renewal fee, nothing. One outlay at the start and away you go. Plus, it syncs up with Spark! Now, there are some oddities in how it syncs up, but c'est la vie. Definitely worth the investment.

And congrats on getting your fitbit and learning how it works. I remember the first time everything reset at midnight and how confused I was for a minute. :( But, like you, lesson learned!

I keep hearing about the FitBit but haven't really investigated it.

Tell me more (from your personal perspective).
Do you wear it on your hip, in your pocket, wrapped on your arm?

What is the total out of pocket cost?

    Tell me more!
