Trip to the ER

Friday, March 29, 2013

I've finally indulged in chocolate today from my bosses' candy shopping cart after staving off the temptations for weeks! My husband has been sick and I'll be heading to the Emergency Hospital where he's seeking treatment now. I'm so glad my oldest daughter has been with him. He's been shivering, running a temperature off and on this week. His heart doctor seems to think it was a sports injury but we think it's more. My daughter explained to him that happened to him previously and sure enough it was something more and he had to be hospitalized two other times. I've not totally caved in with wrong food choices though and the Lord Jesus Christ has been my strength! He's the one I turn to and I know He's always there for me. SPARK Friends, your support is welcomed! I might have to check my computer next week though because our computer is on the blink, it's seen it's last leg.

Hope and pray he will be treated well and soon recovered. It's sure hard to eat right with people in ER.

Hope your husband was in and back out of the hospital quickly, with the medical personnel figuring out and fixing the problem!!

I have found cacao nibs, which is the direct from nature form of chocolate. Chopped up cacao beans without added fat or sugar. I eat them sprinkled on strawberries and bananas with yogurt. Delicious. And they don't set off a binge. AND I think they are much healthier than the kind of chocolates which I think probably live on the candy cart.

    Prayers are coming your way.
