Day 22 on the Journey!!

The Insanity workouts, Insanity Pure Cardio and Insanity Cardio Abs, this morning were okay. I actually separated them in my mind as my accountability partner, Krystal, suggested but unfortunately that wasn't this morning's hurdle. Though I started the work-out okay (Finished the entire warm-up again without resting emoticon )!!!
Half way into the actual workout I started feeling really weak and I could barely push. (I experience this thing where when I drink too much water, I get weak and want to collapse and I have to lie down until I can get some form of food (salt or sugar ) circulating in my system.) Anyway that too much water phenomenon was starting and I didn't even realize it; I thought that I was just tired. It was when I got to the second video and it got even worse that I realized what was happening. Being my stubborn self however I would not quit until I finished the workout so I suffered through it all but I felt near collapse when it was all however I had to lie down for soooo long and drink some tea afterwards to come back to any semblance of normal. At one point my aunt came to check if I was alive because she said I had looked like I had passed out. LOL!! I'm happy I got it all done though and I really hope I don't have a repeat any time soon because it was not a fun experience at all.

Food today was good though, it was oatmeal and cantaloupe for breakfast, I slept through lunch and I had more of the bell peppers and chicken from yesterday for dinner and I was soo glad to know that I didn't imagine the deliciousness. LOL!! I'll probably grab something else later before going to bed.

All in all, just another day on the Journey emoticon .

    emoticon emoticon You might need to drink a protein shake before beginning your workout. That might help! Listen to your body and find what works for you. You don't have to be perfect, just work with your body and you will achieve the desired results.

    Wow! I was impressed when I saw you were doing those Insanity workouts, but the fact that you pushed through even at your breaking point shows you are determined!! Just be careful & make sure you listen to your body. We don't want you REALLY passing out! Great job! Keep it up! :)
