Starting over!!

Monday, October 14, 2013

Today I am starting over. Today was the first day in about 1 month that I went out and hula hooped. I am going to start tracking my food again. I think that it was the "not losing weight in a day" and the "losing weight super slow" thing that made me just give up. In the time that I have not cared about my body, I have gained weight, yeah only a couple pounds, but that is something. Those couple pounds can go up to 10 before you know it. I just want to let you guys know that I am back and I am not giving up!

Maybe the goals you seek are to eat healthier and exercise more. That's a good thing. Keep in touch, make being healthy a priority, and don't ever, EVER let that change. (Yeah. I was pretty big about being healthy when I was in high school. That changed quickly. My freshman 15 was actually freshman 75.)

Hi! We have missed you but figured your senior year was just super busy!

It is frustrating to feel like you're making changes and not getting results, but the truth is you're not really overweight and what you should focus on is being healthy which means eating well when you can, and being active. Hooping again is great! If you can get into a healthy food routine that feels normal, you can stave off the "freshman 15" next year, too!

Sometimes when you're as close to goal as we are, you are just working out to stay the same or not gain, which we just have to look at as success even if we WANT to be a little thinner. But not gaining is a win, too.

emoticon on re-committing but don't be too hard on yourself. You're a busy girl and the most important thing is to learn how to make this a lifestyle that you can stick with long-term.

Good for you! Never give up on yourself and know you can do this! Hang in there and work on what you can control: exercise and tracking nutrition, not on what you can't: the scale. Thanks for sharing!
