Need extra time.....

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

I realized that I probably need to wake up at 5:00am instead of 5:20am these days because I am able to have a more rigorous workout on the treadmill - as my endurance is increasing I can climb higher and go longer. And, it feels really good.

I dread the thought of getting up any earlier than I have to, but I have learned that if I don't do the work in the morning, there is just no way I can do it when I get home at 7-8pm from NYC each evening and manage to squeeze in some family time as well.

By no means have I turned the corner to "want" to work out (at any time!) but I am starting to see and feel the benefits and I'm ready to push myself a bit further to do more!

Keep sparkin'!

Be glad you aren't me. In order to get my exercise in I have to get up at 4am. UGH!

But like you if I don't do it before work it won't get done.

emoticon Look at you go! I couldn't do it in the morning, mostly because of my stomach. However, you have to put it in where you can get it. It's awesome that even though you do "want" to do it yet, you're still looking at the positive side of how it makes you feel. emoticon

Increased endurance is awesome!!! I was just thinking of that when I was doing my quick 15 min wake up on the elliptical this morning :) I was going up the hills and they weren't killing me (probably b/c my main workouts are outside on SERIOUS hills!)... but I thought it was time to up my levels. I've been getting up at 5:30 and thinking I needed to change it to 5:15 and that is horrible... way to early to be awake!! Good for you though for sticking to it & getting in your good workouts early. Be proud of yourself!!!
