Apple Pie

Saturday, April 19, 2014

Have to share....I just made the two most beautiful and fragrant apple pies for Easter. My youngest son helped with everything and they came out pretty spectacular....now the question is...do I indulge tomorrow?

I purposely made apple pie because everyone in my family, but me, loves it. I bought vanilla ice cream to go along with it. Two things I don't really miss on Isagenix.

But, it is Easter and it's homemade....so I am thinking I can forgot the crust and indulge in the apples and cinnamon insides for a more healthy treat.

How do you manage holiday cravings?

Happy Easter!

If you chose to have pie and ice cream...that is OK. Isagenix is a lifestyle not a torture diet. If you did - tomorrow it is back to plan. If not - you are just amazing.....

That is just too tempting! I'm totally a sweets person. I think that allowing yourself some is a good idea, because personally I know if I try to employ too much self restraint I end up rebelling and going overboard at some point. As long as you take the time to savor a few bites, you'll feel satisfied and won't be feeling like you want/need/deserve more later. Enjoy the day!

I'm not huge into apple pie either... but homemade and sitting right in front of me (I'd maybe take a bite!!!). Personally, I can't imagine eating some of it, especially without the crust, doing anything bad to your body or weight. You've been doing so good on the Isagenix and with the cleansing, but it's your choice! Either way, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter today! I did buy Leah a box of non parells at the candy store in Peddlers Village & she gave me one. It was small enough that it was a nice treat & that was all I needed (well, I could have eaten the entire box, but instead I just enjoyed my bite!).

I don't really have a craving for sweets so its easier for me. I like crackers and chips so I measure out portions!
