I was so thrilled to report my first true NSV just yesterday that the last thing I expected was an entire garden full of NSVs! (ummm, I also must admit I didn't even know what an NSV was until Diane mentioned it in her comment, then it dawned on me, a true blonde moment!)
Pulling out the Spring wardrobe to transition as well as to donate all those winter size 18s that no longer fit and realized...... I don't have any old clothes that are going to work for me.... they are ALL too big! That's right, ALL of them. Nothing was even tight. Into the bag for donation they go....hurrah!
And, I have no belt to hold anything up because I have just passed the last belt notch....I need a new belt!
I went shopping for some workout gear and realized I no longer need XXL and quite nicely fit into an XL that makes me look shapely instead of a big blob!
I will be quite limited with my wardrobe as the weather decides what it wants to do, but I am going to figure out how to muddle by until I drop firmly into a size 14, so I can go and buy some clothes that might be a little tight but I will "shrink" into.
Imagine that... I am going to buy clothes a little small because I KNOW I can drop the weight soon enough! I have always been buying clothes a little big, just in case. What a difference a change in attitude makes.
And then, for the first time ever, I think I might actually get excited about buying a bathing suit for the summer.
I have not been in a size 14 since before the birth of my third son in 2002.
I never knew what these NSVs could mean until today. Tonight, I am laying down to sleep a little pleased with myself.....and then plan to get up early for a kickboxing class!
Good night, sleep tight, Spark Peeps!
