The past four days have been good.
On the exercise front both Saturday and Sundays were rest day. I should have done the Focus T25 Stretch video on Saturday but I was super busy with some chores and didn't get it done. Really it may have been because for some reason I'm placing little importance on that video. I guess it's because it's mostly stretching that I'm not really counting it as exercise to be done. I know in my head that that's a misconception but it hasn't stopped me from skipping all three Stretch videos since re-starting the program. I plan to do them though because really I can fit them in anywhere because they're not that strenuous.
Anyway yesterday I did Focus T25 Cardio and guess what folks I nailed it. Yep I kicked its butt!!
I was SUPER proud of myself. I can't wait to nail it even better the next time. I also did my daily 25 push-ups and and the workouts from my challenge from the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team- 30 sit-ups, 30 crunches, 30 leg raises on each side and and a 31 second plank. These were really the workouts for Sunday but I'm too busy on Sundays to do any workout so I usually move any exercise scheduled for Sunday to another day. So anyway since that was Sunday's it meant that I also had Monday's to do but nailing that Cardio video was no small feat so I was exhausted and decided to do it some other time.
Yesterday also marked the beginning of the Ten Minute Trainer program. My husband saw it being advertised on T.V. on Saturday and decided that he wanted to do it and of course he wants me to do it with him so anyway I downloaded it on Sunday and we started yesterday with the Cardio video. It was a good little workout for 10 minutes, it sure got me sweating. We did it, the Warm-up video and the Cool Down video so about 15 minutes in all. After finishing I decided that I could tackle the day's challenge workout (35 sit-ups, 30 crunches, 30 leg raises on each side and and a 33 second plank) and I roped my husband in. Of course he put me to shame doing them like twice the rate that I was doing them for the sit-ups and crunches but it was fun. He enjoyed it too because according to him we can do them everyday. I'm not sure how it's going to work out considering that I usually do them in the morning but I guess on evenings that he wants to do them when I've already done them I'll just do the next day's quota.
Now today I did Total Body Circuit (the toughest video in the Alpha phase) and I nearly nailed it!!
That was almost as good to me as nailing it. I still want to nail it completely though by the end of the Alpha phase so I'll keep pushing. That day will be one of much jubilation. LOL!! I also got in a 30 minute walk today because I walked to my husband's office to bring him his lunch. I jumped at the opportunity to squeeze in a couple more fitness minutes because I REALLY want that 2500 fitness minutes award this month because I've never got it !!!
I've still got today's Ten Minute Trainer video to do and I'll let you all know how that goes tomorrow hopefully.
Now on the food front. I've been okay. I stayed within my range on Saturday, Sunday and yesterday I was even at the lower end so
I'm not sure how today will end though because I've already gone 1319 calories and I'm sure I'm going to be hungry after the workout and I don't know if I can find anything filling for 231 calories but let's hope for the best. Still if I go over by a little bit I won't kill myself because
