Days 311-313 on the Journey!!

Hello Spark-friends,

The past three days have been something. Before that though as it relates to Tuesday evening. I did go over my calories by a little but I killed it with the 10 Minute Trainer Total Body video. I actually did it twice!! The thing is that it uses a resistance band but I only have one and with both Dane and I exercising I decided to give it to him since by all means this is his show. I then did the video bandless with him. After we were done though I had a good amount of energy so I decided to do it by myself with the band while he did my day's challenge workouts which I had already done. It was emoticon !!

Now Wednesday was emoticon exercise-wise. I did my Focus T25 Lower Focus video and I DECIMATED it!! LOL!! I soooooooooooo much more than nailed it. It was so easy for me that I wondered to myself how I ever found it challenging. That's how much progress I've made so emoticon After I was done with it I decided to do one my Stretch videos from the three that I've skipped and it was relaxing as usual. I also did my daily 25 push-ups and and the workouts from my challenge from the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team- 39 sit-ups, 30 crunches, 30 leg raises on each side and and a 38 second plank. Unfortuanely there was no 10 Minute Trainer because Dane didn't get to come home from work early so we didn't get to do it.

Now Thursday was not a great day at all. I was super tired and so I decided that I would make Thursday a rest day. I then gave in to the temptation to go to the scale. Unfortunaely acording to it I have lost NOTHING!! I couldn't believe it!! It even said I gained a pound. After seeing that number it flashed across my mind to just give up. Why bother? But then I said, child are you stupid? Are you kidding me? Do you not see your progress in the mirror? Don't you feel and see it in your clothes? Don't you see your new level of fitness? Then in that moment I realized how much all those articles and blogs that I've reading here on SparkPeople about my relationship with the scale have helped!! I was no longer ruled by it finally the following quotes were true for me and

After that great victory though I allowed mindless eating in front of the t.v. to have its way with my calories for the day but even that minor setback allowed another small victory because I didn't go into my all or nothing mentality but instead I allowed the following quote to really speak to me and get my butt back in gear.

I did just that this morning with my Focus T25 Total Body Circuit video which I nearly nailed again so emoticon me!! I also did one of Dane's 10 Minute Trainer videos, the Cardio one (without his knowledge of course emoticon ) and it was good. I then did my daily 25 push-ups and and the workouts from my challenge from the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team- 40 sit-ups, 40 crunches, 40 leg raises on each side and and a 40 second plank. All in all an emoticon workout.

My eating today has also been good. It's the best that I've eaten in a looooooooooong while! I have a minimum of 260 calories and a maximum of 610 calories to stay in my range for the day and I have every intention of staying within range because I feel that I need more discipline with my diet. I'm going to seek to be extra meticulous where it is concerned because this is where I've been lagging behind. Anyway that's all for now folks. Thanks for your time!! emoticon emoticon and remember
