May 21 2014 : Good Fruit

Wednesday, May 21, 2014

"Lord Jesus, may I be one with you in all that I say and do. Draw me close that I may glorify you and bear fruit for your kingdom. Inflame my heart with your love and remove from it anything that would make me ineffective or unfruitful in loving and serving you as my All."

Here are some sites to help teach children about the Fruits of The Spirit

How do I know I have good fruit from my daycare business. It might seem since I am struggling financially that I should throw the towel in go a different direction. That I have no fruit and all is bleak . However on closer examining I do have lots of Fruit. I will be sad but I will not morn for my daycare is this is not what God has called me to do any more. I remember very clearly how strong the Holy Spirit was when I started it. It has allowed so many good seeds and good works to be done. It has allowed me so much more than I am going to list.

~ Bought my fathers house : Allowed him to be closer to work instead of three hour commute to work and closer to his new wife's family.

~ I got to spend unlimited time with my three daughters. My daughter had a close net of grandparent and parents when they were younger and after mother died they needed more and I was glad I was able to be here to make pancakes, help with homework and just hang out with my three daughters just getting to know and shape who they are. I am very very proud of my daughters. They are not perfect but each one is becoming a women of God and I am so very thankful. I was well into my childrearing when I realized I could not do this without GOD!

~I have taught countless children to pray and look on the bright side of things. Along with numbers abc manners and how to go potty and hand washing.

~ Children often come in contact with God here as it is so prevalent in my life. It may be the thing that brings them to Jesus later in life.

~ These are the moral we work on everyday and every year : Respectful : Loving: Brave: Kind: Thankful: Patient : Confident: Forgiving: Generous: Gentle : Honest: Helpful: ( They know I will keep then safe, healthy and we will find fun and joy here without having to get our way on everything or be out of control )

~ I have been showing other women that you need not allow worry or trying to be the perfect Mom weigh you down. Kindness and Love even when your children challenge you is all that is needed and some common sense.
" Sometimes the Child that seems to deserve you kindness and understanding less, actually needs it more than you can imagine. "

~ I was able to when my daycare was thriving to give to my husband such things as Guitar lessons and other hobbies. When he grew up they were so destitute that they were not allowed to do sports or enjoy hobbies and having newer clothes was never heard of. As an over weight child I cant imagine how that was for my husbands self esteem.

~ Most people who have left me have left for vain judgmental reasons or life changes. I begrudge no one that has ever left for life changes. Life changes ! I feel blessed when the children of people who have left because I need a day off or I couldn't find a shoe or my house wasn't perfect, come running up to me and hug me. I know that the reasons they judge me and even hate me are nothing compared to how much fun and love their children have had in my care. There parents just didn't realize that a sink of dirty dishes and un vacuumed floor is not that important in the long run.

~ I have taught countless children that water is good and so are veggies.

~ I have sparked imaginations with painting and taught problem solving

I am a GREAT PERSON and Have raised Great Daughters. If it is time for me not to do this for a living then God has his reasons. I am searching and praying and reading and reflecting on Gods words. God will give me some insight on what I should do. Sometimes I feel the Holy Spirit so clearly but in this area right now I hear nothing. The only thing I have heard regarding my daycare is a women came to me who was starting to work. Her husband has left her with three young sons and she has had an up hill battle of every kind to even get to work. Plus I have to deal with the State which mean I have to wait to get paid. Yes you heard me wait and trust that they will pay ( As I know she cant) . I had two great interviews on Monday but neither of them would need me for a month or two. In fact in the last three months I have had 28 interviews. SO that tells me I should have Faith and a good attitude while I wait. I cant be tempted to think there is no good fruit here because their is so much..... it is silly to be low and think that. It just isn't in the financial or perfect things. God may be calling me else and that does not mean I failed right. I am still growing as a person and I have felt very alive in the last couple of months. I hope you do too.

Hugs and Prayers to you all.

God is faithful to lead us. The hardest place is the place called transition, but even here, God is faithful. When one door shuts, God is so faithful to open up another. God's ways I have learned from experience are the best ways.
Jesus never disappoints. What I love about Christ is that He truly is my sure foundation.
I will say a prayer for you.
