Days 318-324 on the Journey!!

Hey Sparkies,

Brace yourselves, this might be a long one. Anyway let's start with Wednesday of last week. Now Wednesday of last week was an emoticon day for me on the exercise front. I wait for it......... NAILED Focus T25 Toatl Body Circuit- the HARDEST video of the Alpha phase of the program. I kicked it's butt. emoticon If I could have done then what the emoticon did I would have done it but I was instead satisfied with feeling like I was on Cloud 9. I not only did that video though but I also did another of my skipped Stretch videos, my daily 25 push-ups and my challenge workout which for that day was 53 sit-ups, 50 crunches, 50 leg raises on each side and a 50 second plank. Can you say emoticon me. LOL!!

Thursday was another great workout day. I did the Focus T25 Cardio video and I NAILED it again and even better than the first time. So two days in a row I killed both the hardest and second hardest videos of the program. emoticon I also did my daily 25 push-ups and my challenge workout which for that day was 56 situps, 50 crunches, 50 leg raises on each side and a 52 second plank.

On Friday I unfortunately didn't get to work out because of circumstances but I figured that I could just catch up on Saturday which I half-did. By right I was to do both the Total Body Circuit video and the Lower Focus video but I only managed to do the TBC because my husband requested that I accompany him somewhere and of course being the loving wife that I am I said yes. emoticon I also only did my 25 push-ups and the 59 sit-ups from that day's challenge workout. Sunday was then another rest day.

Yesterday however I started the beginning of the Beta Phase of Focus T25 with the Core Cardio video. It was a good workout but though I felt that I had the potential to nail it I think yesterday was squarely in the "made it" bracket. Unfortunately too this was the only workout I could do because I was in a rush to get somewhere early to get some business done.

Today was the second phase of the Beta Phase and it was Speed 2.0 and I nearly, nearly nailed it folks- my first time around!! emoticon me. I also did my daily push-ups and the Lower Focus video that was left over from Saturday and of course I nailed that. I am doing emoticon with my workouts but I really have to get caught up on the challenge workouts.

Now food-wise. Nothing good to report from Wednesday to Saturday but I gave myself a square mental kick in the backside and got back on track on Sunday and I've been on track since. emoticon

In other news I got an emoticon summer job today that I start on Thursday and will do until the end of July. PRAISE GOD!! Now as it results to this job, on the plus side the added income will mean more money to spend on healthy fare and the actual working will help to reduce distracted and mindless eating and all in all my eating will be more structured which is emoticon and just what I need. On the negative side I know that my time and energy will be greatly strained now so it will be much more of a struggle to get my workouts in. With you guys on my side though I'm confident that emoticon

    emoticon Chalecia!! You don't mess around when it comes to your fitness. I love your dedication towards it emoticon emoticon on the summer job. I am sure you find a way to get your workouts in. They may not be the same workout, but I know you will give it your all. Glad to hear that the mental kick worked and you got back on track; loved the quote at the end. emoticon blog

    Hey, girl, it sounds like you've been kicking some booty with all those workouts! I need you to come to my home and rev me up!

    How hard do you think the T25 video would be for someone like me? Keep in mind, I'm used to Leslie Sansone walking videos, so you're probably way out of my league, LOL!
