HELLO Spark-friends!!



Boy did I prove this yesterday. How easy it was to say I'm going home to exercise from the comfort of my desk, how easy it was to say it when I was travelling home in the evening but then came my stupid decision to sit on my bed in front of the t.v. with a small bag of cheese snacks which became 2 which then became 2 servings of crackers which then became 3 servings of biscuits which could have then become an all out ruined evening. Was it though? NOPE!! Of course the all or nothing mentality reared it's ugly head but I kicked it to the curb and told myself get back on track NOW!! Which I then did by nailing my Focus T25 Dynamic Core video. Man was I proud of myself because this video is KILLER. Your abs don't "burn" in this video they scream "BLOODY MURDER" emoticon I killed it though!!

Not only that but I also had an emoticon NSV with this video. Now usually Shaun T in his Abs videos tells you sometimes to punch your stomach while you're doing a particular move. According to him this is to ensure that you're doing it right by pulling your abs in as tightly as you possibly can and thus you'll be hitting a hard stomach. Now ever since the Alpha Phase I realized that when I hit all I got was soft and jiggly so whenever he said it I'd just ignore him because I was like "I know I'm pulling as tightly as I can but I can't get "hard" because I've got so much skin and fat." Yesterday I wasn't really paying attention though when he said it and I did it and drum roll please..... I got hard!!! There was no soft, there was no jiggly, my fists were hitting rock hard abs!! Can anyone say emoticon



Not only that but I shaved 5 more seconds off my push-up time yesterday. I did all 25 of my push-ups in 1 minute and 45 seconds, down from my previous 1 minute and 50 seconds. emoticon emoticon

Then I GOT UP this morning!! I got out of bed and I did my workout!! Proving again that


I did my Focus T25 Core Cardio video and I only nearly nailed because I chose to take about 5, 5 second rests. What I've learned with my workouts is

Until I wake up one morning and tell myself I'm going to TOTALLY kill this workout I won't nail it completely. I think I only have one more opportunity before the end of the Beta phase though so I'll have to really commit to it then. I did commit to my push-ups though and again I was able to do them all in 1 minute and 45 seconds.

All in all I just LOVE what's happening to my body and me in the process. emoticon
