Days 348-350 on the Journey!!

Hey Sparkies,

Here's the highlights of the past three days. Firstly on Friday I woke up and kicked butt with Focus T25 Dynamic Core. I gave the absolute best performance that I've ever given with this video so emoticon I also did my push-ups in my newest record time of 1 minute 45 seconds emoticon emoticon Food on Friday wasn't great because I went over my calories but it's only because I chose to eat one of my absolute favorite meals that I only get to eat so often so I didn't kill myself over it. Was I again tempted with the all or nothing mentality after finishing my meal? Yes. Did I give in? No so emoticon me emoticon

Now yesterday morning I did both Focus T25 Speed 2.0 and Focus T25 Stretch and again I gave my best ever performance with the Speed 2.0. My push-ups were also emoticon Food again was however a fail. I decided to make lasagna for dinner and I unfortunately underestimated the calories which I could have avoided if I had tracked the recipe before dishing out and eating but hey it's water under the bridge now. I have learned from my mistake and that's all I can ask for. Though the piece of lasagna was a bit calorie dense (and that may not be a true assessment because it was a size-able piece) it was DELICIOUS!! I loved it and so did hubby and if I choose a better portion size it is a perfectly nutritious and filling option. I am definitely making it again.

Yesterday also included the drama of my weigh-in and measuremnt taking but I'll have to give those details tomorrow because I don't have the figures with me right because I'm not at home.

Now today I did my Focus T25 Upper Focus and it was good. I also wanted to do another Stretch video but I woke up late as usual emoticon and so I'll have to do it sometime this week. On the food front I've done emoticon so far and I plan to finish the day in the same vein. Here's to the new week with all of it's opportunities. Remember

    Great going on your exercise this weekend! What an emoticon way to begin your trip to Rio! Woot!

    I love lasagna, too. It's one meal, and you got right back on track. That is a great accomplishment....so many of us sport that "all or nothing" attitude....if we can't be perfect we ruin the whole rest of the day and eat anything and everything. I've don'e that plenty of times myself and then had to deal with remorse the morning after.

    I can get my exercise in, but it is so hard for me to manage my eating. Oh, I love all the nutritious stuff AND all the bad stuff, too. Dainty eater....no, not this girl.

    Since the challenge started, I've been motivated to deal with myself.....and I am grateful for that for as long as it lasts.

    And thanks for the kudos on winning the first mini challenge. It was fun visiting all of the spark pages and learning who our team mates were.

    We're teamed up as buddies for this challenge. Looking forward to helping support one another. Here's a seat next to me on the plane....come sit....let's share this journey and get this plane moving! Juntos, nós podemos (together, we can do this!) emoticon

    I can see you are working hard ............. and I have done the same thing ............ eaten only to find the calorie count later .............. But we learn as we go, don't we? .. .......... you are still doin great!! emoticon
