Day 352 on the Journey!!

Hey Sparkies,

Let's start with yesterday. I went home and I did my Focus T25 Rip T' Circuit video!! I also gave my utterly best performance with some of the moves so emoticon Not only that but Dane (my husband) was with me in the room as I exercised and so when it came time for my psuh-ups I asked him how along he thought it would take me to do 25 push-ups and he said 3 minutes. In my mind I just chuckled and said long gone are those days. emoticon So anyway I clicked play on my push-up song and got down to business. So there I was expecting to reach muscle fatigue by 10-12 push-ups for my first set which is my usual average but did that happen NOPE!!! I pushed all the way to 17 push-ups before I had to rest (My new record)!!! Not only that but I finished ALL my push-ups in 1 minute and 20 seconds YES 1 MINUTE and 20 SECONDS!!! 25 WHOLE seconds lower than my previous record. emoticon emoticon emoticon I was SOOOO proud of me and Dane was proud of me too. He said "You're getting so fit" and I never though 4 little words could impact me so. I was on cloud nine. emoticon LOL!!


Now today I woke up this morning and did Focus T25 and gave another stellar performance!! Then it came time for my push-ups. I went into these thinking there is no way I'm going to do as well as yesterday because it's only my competetive, over-achiever nature that led to such emoticon results yesterday. So of course I started and my first set was 16 push-ups AGAIN (1 less than yesterday but eh) and I finished all 25 in 1 minute and 30 seconds which though higher than yesterday is still 15 seconds less than my previous average!!



I tell you folks, these results are like a drug!! I am soooooooooooo motivated to continue pushing just to see how far I can actually go!! It's so true that:

    You are emoticon I know how much energy pushups require and I am blown away by your success and focus! You have raised the bar for yourself, and you are not flinching! Good for you, my fellow sous chef!

    Raingear today.....it will be a very, VERY soggy walk. So glad I got raingear for a gift....it is coming in handy. I've outgrown the pants and must rerly on the velcro for the jacket right now....but thanks to our Challenge... I'll be wearing it with room to spare soon.

    I can see the shores of Rio from the skies.....Rio, today, then! So let's go have a fabulous Wednesday and keep on moving! emoticon

    although, I'm told my push ups don't even count as one as I'm not "doing them right" ?
