Days 363-365 on the Journey!!

The past few days haven't been great but they haven't been terrible either. I had a few or maybe many missteps on the eating front but I really got back on track with my workouts. I have now done all 4 of the videos that will make up the Gamma Phase of Focus T25. They are Speed 3.0- THE WORST one, Rip'T Up- relatively easy, Extreme Circuit- easy but a little harder than Rip't Up and the Pyramid- still easy but harder than the rest. Now when I say these workouts are "easy" no qualms about it they're intense but I classify them as easy because they don't have as much jumping around as former videos so you have less of that out of breath, "I feel like I wanna die" feeling.
I know for a fact that I'll be building muscles with these videos but a part of me is wondering if I'll still be burning enough calories for a substantial fat loss? It's not as if I can change anything anyway becaue there's no way I can do added cardio in the next 3 weeks because my work hours have been exetended because of some conferences that the office is hosting. Instead of working from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m I'll be working from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. so I'll just have to stick with my 25 minutes and see what happens.
In other news my DH chose to find inspiration in the funniest thing on Saturday night. We were watching Cast Away and he realized that Tom Hanks had to lose weight while filming to show the weight loss of the character on the island and so he reasoned that if Tom Hanks could just lose weight for that role he can do it too. It's weird I know but I definitely won't argue with this new-found motivation. Not only that but we decided on a bet last night. We are going to compete for 2 months to see who can make more progress. We'll take measurements every week and a winner will be determined from those measurements every week and the person who has won the most weeks in the 2 months wins the bet. Now my competetive nature REALLY wants to kick his butt but I honestly just want to see him get dedicated to this sooooo bad that I don't care if I lose (he doesn't know that of course
So yep I've received new motivation to BE FOCUSED!!! I've got to get my eating under control and I have to keep consistent with my workouts. I'm am going to GO HARD with this challenge because as much as I may want him to win, it won't come to him easy!!
