Day 1 of 8 cups of water

I rarely drink much water and after a couple years of seeing the recommendation, I decided to work on this yesterday.
Perfect day to do so as I had a lot of indoor activities and wouldn't be distracted.
Basically I lined up 4 tumblers that hold 2 cups and sipped throughout the day.
It wasn't difficult although I did use the bathroom very very frequently. I was surprised that I began to notice how thirsty I really am. The 8 cups didn't make me feel bloated.
Also woke up twice more during the night to use the bathroom.
I'll give it a try for a couple more days to see if the night time nature calls stop.
