as·pire (-spr)
intr.v. as·pired, as·pir·ing, as·pires
1. To have a great ambition or ultimate goal; desire strongly.

2. To strive toward an end: aspiring to great knowledge.

3. To soar.

I was soaring for a long while. I lost a lot of weight. I was a long way from my weight goal, though. Life got complicated. A lot of things happened. I broke! I forgot how to soar. I decided to stop for a while. I learned it wasn't a good idea in my case. I gained a lot of weight back. I sit a lot and stare at the television. It is like slow death for me. I can't stop or take a break, because it means going in reverse. I have gone in reverse. I am not eating healthy most of the time. I am not exercising most of the time. I am back to bad habits that I thought I had beaten. I was sitting here thinking of a word that is the most powerful word to me right now. Aspire was the word that came to mind. So I looked it up. This word fails me right now. So I call upon all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ to please take a moment a pray for me. I pray also, LORD please here my prayer! I need you to lift me up. Help me to soar again as the eagle you describe in the Bible. I need renewal. I need YOUR strength. I pray take my hand once again and lead me to aspire to live healthy physically, spiritually, and mentally. Help me to regain that strong desire to lose weight, to eat healthy, to exercise, to take care of this body that you have given me. I ask forgiveness for failing to do all I can to take care of myself. Forgive me for losing hope and falling in despair. I know you love me LORD. I know you have been right there with me through every single thing. I just got battle weary. Renew my strength and help me to stand. I am writing down scripture you have given me to help me. I thank you LORD. I know victory is mine. Amen!
