Workout - Week 8 - Day 3 - Warrior Home Gym

Still on track. I've been pretty busy with stuff and haven't had a chance to get on here and ready posts and blogs but I'm hoping to get caught up on all of it tonight.

I worked 35 minutes on muscle and core strength. A body can really work up a sweat on that. I'm surprised.

Lately I've been feeling I'm not much of a contributor to the teams I'm on but I know it's because I'm emotionally drained from dealing with stuff....at least I'm hoping it's that.

I wish I had some of my SP friends closer so that we could go for a cup of coffee and let off steam.

The onslaught of life doesn't give an inch!

Anyways, just knowing you folks are fighting as hard, if not harder, to reach your goals. I'm off to read posts and I hope you all have a nice restful night!

    People don't think much about core exercise, but like you, I find I am sweating and gasping for breath when I am done! Takes a lot of energy to hold that core steady!

    Hey Reggie, just saw this blog and your comment on mine. Sorry I didn't get a chance to check it out sooner. Yesterday was GNO and I was busy getting drunk pedicures with a friend then Indian food, then a long walk to sober up before the drive home. I don't know what this blog said originally but if you are having a stressful week, maybe you need to schedule a GNO too! I highly recommend it! emoticon emoticon

    Ok first off the point of this site is to make friends, learn to be healthy, lose weight (and God help me) maintain the loss while being completely surrounded by people going through the same struggles, having the same hardships and who want to go through it with the support that you have given SO many others. If or when you have a struggle, a hardship or are dealing with something you're suppose to come here and let us all know so we can hold you up and support you or be that shoulder to lean on when you need it.

    Don't let yourself get psyched out because you are having some issues or feel tired of watching what you eat or just plain feel tired!! It's all part of this. It's life. You deal with the cards you are dealt and come to the dealer (that's us, your friends) when you need to get a stronger hand.

    You are right about the mantra, but having said that, it's OK to not "feel it" all the time. I know I don't. You've read my blogs. Just tonight I was drooling (I wish I could say that it was figuratively but I can't) and complaining to my husband about a dessert menu that I really wanted to order from but couldn't "cuz I'm on a diet." We ALL do it.

    I guess I'm just trying to say that anytime you want to complain, be down, be tired or just aren't "feeling it" you can always come find me!! You can always come find me for those times when you ARE "feeling it" too cuz I can guarantee I'm going to need a shoulder to lean on from time to time myself and you have GREAT shoulders!!! I'm also going to want to share my happy times too!!

    I hope you have a better weekend then it sounds like you are right now sweetie and if not I've always got my email!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
