Workout - Week 10 - Day 2 - Warrior Home Gym

Thursday, November 20, 2014

Technically I work out every day except Tuesdays. That's my rest day. But I stayed with the theme from when I was in gym class.

I'm sick of exercising and watching what I'm eating but I know that if I throw in the towel now, I'll feel miserable within a day. Plus after three months pass I'll have regretted not sticking with it when it got tough and say, "self, why didn't you just hang in there? You'd be down 50 lbs by now." So I'm giving myself that pep talk now.

I did 30 minutes lower body strength training and 15 minutes cardio and called it good.

We'll see how things go the rest of the week.

Girlfriend do I feel ya!! I'm so tired of watching my food it's starting to annoy the crap out of me. You know what though, I think that's when both of us need to be blogging the most. Mind you I haven't blogged anything for a while at this point so I'm saying this to you AND me! It's those times when you're tired that I don't need to necessarily hear "you can do it" because that can be patronizing depending on my mood anyway.

I don't know if it's the same with you, but I do believe that many things other than germs are contagious and sometimes just being around other people who are living the life that you are tired of can be just as contagious. Just reading how other people are fitting exercise in their day or how somebody found a really great recipe can help pull you out of your funk.

Other times it doesn't and that's totally OK too as long as you keep trying to get back on that wagon once you're done feeling "tired." That can be hard, but it's possible and we both know it because it's how we both got here to begin with!! Keep on plugging on sweetie. You're doing a great job whether you think so or not!!

Good morning, Reggie! Nutrition and fitness are not easy to keep up with. It's hard to have a positive attitude when times get difficult. Just think of the weight you've lost so far. That's something to be proud of!

You've heard it plenty of times, but ... weight loss truly is a journey with many bumps and dips. It's hard to figure out the direction to go in when there's a fork in your journey's path. I believe you've reached a fork. You can go one of 2 ways. Either you can go forth the path of good nutrition and fitness and reap the many benefits or you can choose the path of misery, self-loathing and end up not losing weight or getting in shape. You can choose either way. and members here are trying to keep you (and all of us) on the path of good nutrition and fitness. Stick with us, right?
