Good week/bad week...

Last Friday I lost my swim goggles and discovered I cannot swim the crawl with my eyes closed under water (I don't go straight!!!) So I swam mainly breast stroke. And my hip protested the extra work from the frog kick - and has been protesting ever since! It loosens up a little when I run, although I've reduced my mileage, but is still protesting a week later... Pretty sure it's just the hip flexor muscle, but ouch!!!

On the good week side of the equation - I did get in my workouts, eat in range, and keep moving forward this week. And was rewarded by breaking through the 150 mark on the scale. Only down to 149.2, but SO nice to see the 140's again.

One more week until I go on vacation for a week...

    Good job on breaking into the 140s - woohoo! I'mone of those strange people who never wear swim goggles. I grew up on the beach, and swam without them all the time, so now that I'm older, I just don't feel a need for them. Sorry you lost your goggles, I see people all the time forgetting their goggles and it makes for a miserable swim for them.
