Strength Training Routine

Hi SPARK Friends, I thought you might like to know what routine I'm doing at the gym besides using the CYBEX Arc Trainer or Treadmill. Most of the time I focus on all of the machines on my routine but if time doesn't allow me to complete everything I'll just use the machines that tones the arms and works on ABS & back. I usually do 2 sets of each, 15-20 Reps and use between 30 to 50 lbs. of weight depending on the machine I'm using.

It's been about a month and I'm beginning to notice a difference in my arms and my ABS. The machines are:

LEG PRESS - 50 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

LEG CURL - 50 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

LEG EXTENSION - 40 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

PULL DOWN - 35 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

OVERHEAD PRESS -- 40 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

SEATED ROW - 50 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

PEC FLY/REAR DELT - 35 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

ARM CURL/TRICEPTS -- 20 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

BACK EXT./ABS - 50 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets

HIP AB/ADDUCTION- 50 lbs., 15 REPS, 2 Sets


25-30 MINUTE TO do THIS & THEN 30-40 MIN. ON EITHER THE ARC TRAINER which is similar to the Elliptical or on the Treadmill

    Looks like a great workout. I hope you are not doing that everyday and are alternating days to give your muscles a rest. Or what I do is do upper body one day and then lower body the next so that I am not overtaxing any muscle group. Have a great day!
