Meet Challenges Head-on

My friends just a update quick note. I've been so committed to improving my health one day at a time. Even when nothing concrete could be seen I prayed that I could stay the test. I, now, can say without a doubt when you don't see effective change, change is being made on the inside.

November 23, 2015 I had a triple by-pass which I embraced with confidence and assurance that it would be a success. The VNS and the PTs are surprised at my recovery. There is no surprise because I did the work upfront, in preparation, for this surgical possibility. Many years ago I was told It might come to this, and, because I wanted to delay or take it off of the table I began my journey toward "good: health. I've lost 160 lbs. I started walking only a few steps to where I now walked 8.5, 19 min, miles on my birthday: 8/29/2015 @ 71 years young.

My vital signs after workout are just about the same before I work out. My PT says I paid it forward by doing the yeoman work years ago consistently. My message? As long as we wake each day, we need to do something for ourselves. Pay it forward. What you do now will benefit you in the future, whatever the future brings. Meet each obstacle with sheer joy and confidence because you are , now, victorious and will continue being "King of the Hill." Still have a way to go. Can't wait to begin working out again.
