Interested or Committed?

Day 2 of 100 Days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangle.
I have been interested in losing weight for many years. I have been committed to losing weight for a few weeks at a time. But when I really think about it, that isn't commitment either. There is a big difference between being committed and being interested in losing weight.
When I'm interested:
It doesn't last long.
I depend on seeing results or I don't keep going.
I easily explain why I'm not reaching my goals - no time, it's my husband's fault, life is too stressful right now, etc.
When I'm committed:
I stick with it.
I work on keeping my motivation strong.
I have a "no matter what" attitude.
When I'm committed, I make time. When I'm interested, I make excuses.
I am committed!
