I did it again... I overslept this morning. I like to be up by 6:30am but I refuse to set an alarm unless I have something that requires it. I was blasted awake by an alarm for too many years to put myself through that if I don't have really need to do it. So, no time for the treadmill before breakfast. I did do a few household chores before breakfast and then afterwards went to the gym for a 50 minute weight training class. Today, was upper body/arms. We started with a set of 12, followed by a set of 10, 8, 6 and then another 12. The goal is to start light and get heavier as you go, then go back light for the final set and hopefully really fatigue the muscle. It worked lol.
My DH had to go to Portland today and left shortly after I got home from the gym. After he left, I headed up to the she cave to do my 30 minute treadmill walk. While I was up there I worked on our tax prep for awhile and did a small amount on the de-clutter project. My reward was to watch the final episode of Downton Abbey. I actually watched half while I had lunch and saved the final half for after my afternoon run. I had 5 miles on the schedule today and it was lightly raining. I decided to go ahead and do it outside and just get wet... which I did. At about mile 4 I pass the Outlet Mall and that is always a good place for a bathroom stop. The problem now however is EVERY time I see the mall coming up I HAVE to go to the bathroom. My body is like Pavlov's Dog. It reminds me of when I was going through chemo (25 years ago) for breast cancer. Toward the end of the treatment regime I would walk in the room and when I would see the nurse I would have to run to the bathroom to throw up. I was nauseous just seeing her before they even started. I told her it wasn't personal. Yep, I'm like Pavlov's Dog.
After I got home from my run, I showered and plunked myself on the couch for the final half of the show. The writer did an excellent job of wrapping up the story lines and everyone had a happy ending. Just like real life... ha!

Single serve container of carb control yogurt
Veggie Omelette with 1 egg, 2 whites
2 cups honeydew / watermelon / blackberries
Protein Shake with almond milk and 1/2 c frozen grapes
Spaghetti Squash Lasagna Boat - 1/2 Spaghetti Squash with 1/2 c cottage cheese, 1 c marinara, 1/4 c diced sausage and 2 oz mozzarella
Rosemary Cracker with wedge of laughing cow cheese
3/4 c warmed applesauce with 1/4 c berries and dollop of FF whip
