Things are really rocking and rolling here on the Oregon Coast tonight. We currently are under a Hurricane Force Wind Warning and the power has been popping on and off for the past hour. It is possible that I may lose power before completing my blog so I'm going to go ahead and post.. and will update with the complete version when it is finished (and power remains) So far we have had wind gusts up to 68 mph and things outside are blowing around. We have seen garbage can lids, pop cans, and other little stuff and the canvas cover on our camp trailer is pretty much torn to shreds. The winds are supposed to continue for another six hours so most likely we will have trees down and probably a few houses/businesses will lose their roofs. It has been blustery and rainy all day. I had a 5 mile walk on the schedule so as you can imagine, there was no way I could do it outside. What I did do was 30 minutes on the treadmill this morning before going to the gym for a 1 hour spin circuit class. We do 3 rounds of 15 minutes of spin followed by 5 minutes of strength. It was a good work-out.

After coming home from the gym, I did a few household chores and worked for a bit on our June camp trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. I am working out a route and where we will potentially stay. As I make progress, I check for availability and make reservations. It is amazing how many places are already sold out for the days I'm looking for. I thought planning 3 months in advance would be sufficient but for popular places it looks like you need to reserve sooner. We took our first camp trip last September and I'm really a newbie at it.

After lunch, it was storming so I headed up to do another 30 minutes on the treadmill. I downloaded an audio book to listen to while walking so that helps pass the time. Afterwards, I worked a little on the de-clutter project. I found a tin box full of photos from a trip to Paris. It was fun to look through. I have a friend who has been scanning her old photos and they are turning out great. I sent her a message to find out what type of equipment she is using and may look into getting a photo scanner. I did send in a batch of photos to a digitizing service in December and they turned out great.... but I have a lot of photos and if I got them all digitized it would be expensive. The thing I didn't get done today was finishing the income tax prep. I have to do that tomorrow for sure as I plan to deliver the paperwork on Friday.

To get the rest of my walking done I did house walking while watching TV. The cat loves when I do that because she thinks it is a game and she is being chased. She gets her exercise too when I house walk!

Soft serve frozen banana "ice cream" with dollop of FF whip

Large Green Salad with cabbage, tomato, onion, diced chicken
Newmans Own Sesame Ginger Dressing
Rosemary Cracker with wedge of laughing cow cheese
