Days 14-15 of the March to 155!!

Hey Sparkies,

So the past 2 days have been 2 more green star days!! emoticon Yesterday I woke up and did my Insanity which was actually 2 videos and then in the evening my DH and I went to the gym where I did my Spark Run Your 5k Training program which yesterday was 8 sets of walking for 1 minute and jogging for 4 minutes. I also had a 2 minute warm-up and cool down so I did 44 minutes overall and 483 calories. I then did my strength training program for the day and some stretching to cool down. All in all a totally emoticon workout day!! emoticon

Today I also woke up and did my Insanity and then we went to the gym again this evening. Today was a cross training day for the Run Your 5k training program and so I was going to do just 30 mintues on the Elliptical but then I decided that I would do the Cardio kickboxing class that the gym was offering this evening. I though it would be a good fit for because I LOVE Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire so I purposefully went at that time to do the class even though it was a busy period at the gym that I would usually avoid.

Anyway I got there in time for the class but by a couple minutes in, I realized it was nothing like I thought it would be. Firstly I wasn't loving the music and then the instructor was just doing moves and expecting you to watch and follow her and then the moves were repetitive and just not fun so I left after about 7 minutes. At that point I was planning to revert to my original plan of 30 minutes on the Elliptical but the ones I usually use were occupied and then I decided to try one of the other smaller ones but I just didn't like how it felt so after about 4 minutes I quit that too. I then just decided to do my strength training because the only other free machines were the stationary bike and StairMaster, neither of which I'm a fan. I got my strength training done which was good but I didn't feel as satisfied when I was leaving the gym. emoticon Ah, well there's always tomorrow!!

On the food front though, I've stayed within my calorie range for 3 days in a row now!! emoticon I'm looking forward to making it 4 tomorrow.

So yep that's what's been going on. I'm still on track and still pushing on. I hope that's true for all of us!!
