When Did We Get to Mid-April?

So yes it's already mid-April. Can YOU believe it because I surely can't? Them onth has been okay so far. I've definitely refocused where my eating is concerned though I'm still not where I want to be. I'm still a little unfocused and will probably remain that way until May 13th when my exams will be over. I'm still pushing though and trying to do my best in the midst of all the stress and anxiety. I hope that I can at least stay as focused as I am now when things get more intense week after next because exam time has proven to be a time for me when I go off the deep-end and I definitely can't afford that right now.
Well here's to swimming if I do.
In other news, the scale has gone back to not being my friend. I lost 3 lbs since my last blog but since then there has not been much movement which sucks (to put it honestly) but I'm trying to not let it discourage me. I'm focusing on what I can control which is making nutritious choices at meal times and trying to stay within my calorie range as well as getting my Insanity in 6 days a week. I'm also trying to get enough sleep because we all know how much of an impact sleep deprivation can have on not only our weight loss but health in general.
So many times we let the scale, mirror or tape measure which we can't control cause us to let go of the choices we can control and then we wonder how we ended up back at square one. I'm learning to focus on me. If I do what I'm supposed to the results will EVENTUALLY do what they're supposed which is show up.
As I mentioned above I'm pushing on and that's ALL I can do. If this proves to be a period where I don't make any progress result-wise then so be it. As I said all I can do right now is work on what I can control which is me (at least most of the time)
