I'm working today, just put on my boot to try to ease up the heel soreness a bit. Sometime this evening, I'll be heading to Sherri's for a cookout with her family.
Tonight I want to try the elliptical again for a bit. I made it 15 minutes last time (I'm confident I could have gone longer but didn't want to hurt my foot by pushing it). I'll plan on 15 minutes, but try and shoot for 20 if at 13 or so it still feels ok.
John (the PT guy) said I can attempt walking again if I want, which absolutely scares me, so maybe while I'm at Sherri's, I'll try it on her treadmill, so it's a flat, even surface, instead of out on the road in front of my house.
FINALLY got my Krispy Kreme yesterday, and I'm happy to report that the constant doughnut obsession has finally passed. Yay! And I'm not sure how, what with the fast food feeding frenzy (and that doughnut) last week, but the scale was down this morning. WHEW! I'm happy to see that! Even if it bounces back up a pound or so, I'm still pleased with where I'm at.
And even better, my scale measures fat, water, muscle mass, bone mass and caloric measurements as well. It's been slow but consistent movement into positive changes. My fat is down, my muscle mass is up! I'll take that any day of the week!
