BLC Summer Camp 1 month in

I like the Summer Camp format it's nice and low pressure for the summertime craziness although I still have a lot of missing in action weeks, and my planned fitness pfft it's not happening...lol
That being said, I am sticking to my food plan with a tenacity that I have never experienced before. I've said repeatedly the best diet for you is the one you can stick too...YAY I found it!!! I have off plan days but I can get right back on track because I love the food, my average for the year is a pound a week, I'm down 29 for the year and 53.6 since joining Sparkpeople in 2012 I'm currently weighing in at 153.4 lowest I've been since my mid twenties. I'm now closer to where I'm going then to where I started. I have set a goal of 140 for the first time ever I feel like I will get there!
I set a goal to cultivate peace with my food and calmness in my life, I can honestly say that I have, for the most part, succeeded with that goal for June. I've had moments when I thought the scale was moving too slowly but in reality I am doing enough to lose weight in a healthy consistent manner and I really just need to keep on keeping on.
My sincere wish for everyone in Sparkland is that they find the way of eating for them that stops the cravings and the talking food, you know the food that sits in the cupboard or fridge and gives you no peace it just screams out to be eaten I'm here giving testimony that this can really happen.
