I have been frustrated in my weight loss efforts, so I joined a Plateau-Busting Challenge. Because I said that I was willing to give the challenge a try, I was immediately chastised, for not being "committed enough", by one of the group members. This person said that I would see results, " If u commit 2 u Plan, follow thru, willing 2 make changes 4 life."
I've been tracking my nutrition and fitness (on another website) for 100 days. I trimmed my eating habits (Mindless snacking on whatever was on hand) so that I was eating a much more balanced diet, and keeping in the 1250 - 1350 calories a day range. I worked my way from 10 minutes of light cardio a day, 5 days a week, to 60 minutes of moderate cardio a day 5 days a week - and 2 days of 30 minutes of light cardio. So far, no results.
I signed on to SparkPeople 8 days ago, to see if I could get some new insights. I tailored my nutrition to include balancing other nutrients, because the website makes it easy to track. I added strength training 2 days a week (30 minutes each to replace 30 minutes of cardio) I bumped up the cardio 3 days a week to HIIT - keeping within 75 - 80% of my MHR.
I hate exercise - I do it, anyway. (360 minutes a week)
I hate water - I drink it, anyway. (64 to 80 ounces a day)
I, still, have not seen any results of my efforts. I realize that I've only been at this for 100 days, but, how long do I have to go, before I express frustration?
I must not be committed enough. - Adding another 10 minutes of cardio to my daily routine.
