Hard to keep updated.....

I like Spark People and I'm glad it's a free site but with all the ads, it really slows down my computer so it is difficult to just "pop on" to update daily. It takes a good 30 min or more, for pages to load, ect. just to update exercise and food intake. (and I have a fairly good computer and internet, but the amount of ads always slows down my page loading)
Since last year, I have gained a bit of weight back but I am still 40+lbs less than where I was in 2010! Which is what I find so wonderful! My "maintenance" weight is 25lbs less than my maintenance weight I have had for years!!
Too much traveling and getting off of our "routine" is the biggest culprit, also, I still like the occasional donut and cake and white bread!! Especially when we travel! Ugh!
But to say that I am not happy, well, I am! My body is healthier and I am doing things I never would have been able to do before. I run!! I have ran 5 Half Marathons (not counting the 3 or so "virtual" 13.1 mile races I have done on my own), I run 6 to 12 miles a week (not every week but most weeks), I do 12+ miles in Spin(bicycling) class twice a week. (again, not every week but most). I take stairs at hotels, even if we are on the 3 or 4th floor! And recently, my husband and I were on a cruise and our stateroom was on the 10th deck, (14 decks total though 13 and 14 are in the "smoke stack") and we took the stairs every time! (but once) The restaurants were on decks 2 and 3, and I went to dinner dressed up and in heels!! So we did at least 2 to 8 decks every time we left our stateroom! Except the spa, it was one deck up! lol
I'm looking at my 45th birthday next year and I feel better than I have ever felt!!!
