I injured my left knee last month after slipping in the snow 2x. It was painful. I'm up to around 265 pounds and today is the first day where I've actually been able to workout gently with very little pain or discomfort.
Right now what I'm doing is a gentle warm up, walking workouts (I may add very gentle upper body workouts and workouts for bad knees), 20-25 min of gentle dance drills and 20-35 min of stretching. Plus rehab exercises. I plan on sticking with this for a while because I know its going to take inch worm speed to heal strongly.
I've also been doing intermittent fasting on and off for months now. It feels really good and I get a lot accomplished so I love it.
