2017 Update

Just an update ~ Last week I weighed in at 268. I am using intermittent fasting and working out and higher doses of protein and vegetables to lose weight. It's been working most of the time. I have knee pain, just not enough for surgery. So that's also what I'm working with.

    I experienced a lot of discomfort with my pelvic fracture and was able to manage the pain with what was considered post surgical doses of turmeric. Sometimes you'll see the supplement listed as curcumin since it is the curcuminoids in the turmeric that's the active ingredient.

    Have to tell you the health care professionals caring for me following the fracture were shocked to learn that I managed my pain without any prescribed opiods. The curcumin was that effective for me.
