Nailed It! The First 42 Days of my "Race" to the Finish!

So in my last blog I wrote about my goal to reach my goal weight of 140 lbs in 210 days. My plan to do this was to use 42 day blocks to focus on
1. Eating no more than 2000 calories a day and no more than 2 servings of junk food a day, also not bringing more than 2 servings of junk food into my house at any one time (because it's as they say "You can't eat what you don't have")
2. Exercise by doing my scheduled Beachbody workout or a suitable alternative and meeting my 10,000 step goal daily.
In terms of weight my goal was to weight 168.6 lbs by my first checkpoint which was March 9, 2018.
So how did it go you ask? The answer is
Of the 42 days I only went over 2000 calories 3 times; I only missed my Beachbody workout 4 times because I had to focus on studying for some important exams and I met my 10000 step goal every single day!!

I am sooooo proud of what I was able to accomplish and it is all of these stats that I consider a success because as I said in my last blog these are the things that I had direct control over.
Nonetheless I weighed in on Saturday morning at 165.4 lbs which was 3.2 lbs less than my intended weight. I also did my measurements and lost one inch from waist, one inch from each thigh and a half inch from my hip so 3.5 inches lost overall. Finally I took progress pics today and they are as follows:
So yep that's what has happened over the past 42 days. A lot of progress that I hope to replicate in the next 42 days.
