week 2 and 3

So I forgot to blog last Sunday. I remembered around Thursday and decided I'd just do a two-fer today.

So for April 8-14: my average daily calorie intake was 2135 and fat was 88 grams. Getting lower but still having sometime before bed binges. Not every day like before, but still too often.

I did 64 minutes of exercise this week. My goal is 70 (10 min x 7 days).

I lost 2.8 lbs which I'm very happy about. Just goes to show perfection isn't required to reap benefits.

April 15-21: my average daily caloric intake was 1905 and fat was 72 grams. GOAL on the calories but still a bit high on the fat (my goal is 55 grams). I am still struggling with the fat thing, and told my instructor the same thing at class on Thursday. My thinking has always been eat less calories than you burn. I never paid a whole lot of attention to my macros. I tried to limit the amount of processed sugar and "bad" carbs and get plenty of protein for muscle development. But I never paid much attention to fat. I added avocado and cheese to everything. I'd eat kalamata olives with with wild abandon! Now I am having trouble figuring out exactly what I can eat.

I also met my exercise goal by doing 73 minutes last week, although I still am not exercising every day.

I did not lose any weight this week, but I'm ok with that. The numbers show me that it will happen, I just need to be patient and keep trudging along.
