Solid Results!

I hope you're all well! I'm happy to report that I'm continually losing weight, still. I'm just applying smart portion control and moving my body more. I average 10,000 steps a day! I am increasing my activity level and remaining in a calorie deficit.

I'm almost to 40 lbs lost! I'm currently hovering around 214 lbs each day. As you know (if you usually read my blogs or follow my journey) I am a daily weigh-in type. I like to take my weekly average, or even my monthly averages! I love seeing the fluctuations my body goes through. It helps me remain patient and understanding during this lengthy process.

I have some non scale related victories I want to share! Ahem: Wedding ring is becoming loose. Clothing size went from 24 (XXL) to 14-16 (L-XL). I can EASILY take the stairs... I'm talking two stories high! 😁 I have gained a love of exercise; I started going for daily walks after dropping my children off at school (7:30am, like who am I?!). I've noticed that all of my daily chores are so much easier. I'm not as cranky as I once was, although my HANGRYness as increased. lol I chalk that up to the fact that I'm in a deficit. I try my best to eat enough carbs and healthy fats to keep that in check - but I fall short sometimes. That's another thing! I almost always hit my calorie and macro goals. 😄 Sex life has improved, too....not that you perverts were even wondering. 😅

Remember when I mentioned that I was toying with the idea of getting VSG? There is only 4 weeks left to the mandatory classes that started May 7th! 😱 I am still on the fence about it as I've lost nearly 40 lbs on my own since Feb this year. I'm worried about if it's worth the risk if I've already changed my lifestyle. I've adapted healthy strategies to cope with my emotional eating, so, is surgery truly for me? ADVICE IS APPRECIATED! 😘 Omg, speaking of that class, I have to call their main office to schedule a make up class since I've missed one...woopsie! 😂

Husband started cross training me to be on the field and apply chemicals for general pest control (I'm already licensed to do agricultural work, but not structural). It's adding extra steps to my counter, so I have no complaints! Hoping that the extra activity will boost my weight loss efforts. 💪 Family is happy and well. All daughters are staying active and engaged in school. Enrolling youngest in pre-school, soon! But that's like $500 a month for only 2 full days of care per week. 😭 Pray for us. lol

Thank you for reading about my life and journey. I don't know exactly why I enjoy sharing this with almost complete strangers, but I totally do. 😋 You're all part of my accountability. If I can help keep you on track, please feel free to reach out to me.
