I have finished my 4-week ketotarian challenge and I plan to continue eating this way. I also plan to add a fasting mimicking plan for 5 days each month -- today is day one of the first one. I also hope to add more walking but it will have to be indoors today. I don't have a treadmill so I guess I will just walk from one end of the house to the other several times.

Well, we finally got our winter snow -- I hope it doesn't last too long because it only takes a little bit to make our driveway a treacherous place to walk.

    There is no dairy on the Ketotarian plan and to begin with the only flesh foods are fish and seafood. I have found that I can stay in ketosis with a higher carb count if the carbs come from veggies -- I eat lots of whipped cauliflower with olive oil. You can be vegan on the plan if you choose but I eat fish and will eventually add back free range chicken and even the occasional bit of beef.
