day eighty-seven

Sunday, August 25, 2019

Last day of summer vacation. Close to three months but a few days shy. Been doing a little of this and that to be ready for in the morning. I just turned on the alarm for in the morning. I have slept later than the alarm a few times like this morning but mostly wake and get up before the 5:45 am when it is set. We did laundry this morning and it wasn't too long after that we had a heavy rain but within a couple of hours the sun was out. I filled my son's request for breakfast this morning and then went to the gym pool to walk for an hour.
My older son got back home about 6:30 this evening. He said he had a good visit with his brother. Asked and he said his brother is in eighth grade and age 14. We watched a little tv. He said he is only working 3 more days. I know this week is going to go by fast.
We are going to try to go to gym on Wed. evening. Me to the 6-7 pm water fit class and my younger son to do weights. It sounds like his friend might go too so if he wants to go I'm sure my son will also want to. My son said he only wanted to go one day to begin but then go two times a week. He is ok with Monday and Wed which are the evenings when they have water fit classes. I'm kind of happy about this as have thought about going to the classes but never gone yet.
It is almost time for bed so goodnight all and have a great Monday and week.

Happy Monday!! Back to the school routine for you and younger DS. Countdown for older DS. Mixed emotions, I'm sure. Hope it's a great week for everyone.
