What a difference a Weekend can make...

My old habit was to celebrate end of the work week by going out to dinner on Friday night.
Last night, we had chili cooked at home and relaxed while watching a movie together.

My old habit was to go to McDonald's for breakfast, multiple diet sodas, and read a book.
Today, I'm cooking turkey sausage, vegetables, and scrambled egg whites at home, sipping chia tea in front of our fireplace, and reading a book.

Last weekend I went on a binge and ate fast food, ice cream, pizza, chocolates, etc.
This weekend, I'm planning low carb meals with lots of fresh vegetables and cooking at home.

After all, if I start "celebrating with food" or "relaxing my eating habits" on Friday and continue through Sunday... that's 43% of my week that was not on track. Pretty hard to overcome that.
